PRIZE DRAWING: Because I Want to Wish Everyone a Happy National Snack Food Month, Which Was Last Month

I know February is National Black History Month, National Get To Know an Independent Real Estate Broker Month and Return Shopping Carts to the Supermarket Month, but I totally forgot that it’s also National Snack Food Month. According to the Snack Food Association (SFA), National Snack Food Month was created to increase consumption and build awareness of snacks. Apparently entire supermarket aisles dedicated to snacks and displays near the checkout counter hasn’t been enough to encourage people to eat more snacks.

Anyway, to celebrate National Snack Food Month, The Impulsive Buy is going to give away seven 6-ounce bags of FoodShouldTasteGood tortilla chips to seven lucky readers. I have one of each flavor FoodShouldTasteGood offers.

– Multigrain
– Jalapeno
– Olive
– Chocolate
– The Works!
– Sweet Potato
– Buffalo

Thanks to the folks at FoodShouldTasteGood for providing the bags of their chips to give away.

To enter this prize drawing, just leave a comment with THIS post with the flavor you would like to win and whatever else you want to say. Please fill out the email field, because IÒ€ℒll be emailing the winners for their mailing addresses. The Impulsive Buy will stop accepting entries on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 11:59 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time. Only one entry allowed per person (I’m keeping track of the IP addresses) and it’s open to EVERYONE who’s 18 years old or older.

Good luck!

Fine Print: The Impulsive Buy promises your email address will not be used to send you emails about how you can have sexy long time. The Impulsive Buy also promises your mailing address will not be used to send you rocks in the mail. Bribes will not be accepted. The Impulsive Buy will not be responsible for lost mail, damaged mail, or whatever comes out of Paula Abdul’s mouth on national television.

  1. Other than today when I totally pigged out and ate 3,500 calories for dinner (Happy St. Patrickmblembleblarg [hic!]), I normally (okay, just since January) eat 1500 calories a day. So as not to screw up this never-say-diet-it’s-actually-a-brand-new-life-blah-blah-blah too much, I guess I’d best pick Multi-Grain. Oh, and if you sell my email address to ViagravationBigMan4You.com I will personally swim to Hawaii and whap you upside the head with my law degree (at least then it would be good for something). Love and smoochies. :-*

  2. Have multiple entries from the same IP been a problem? Geez, the things some people’ll do for free nasty toothpaste.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for sweet potato.

  3. My day is not complete without eating chocolate so I would like chocolate. Now I must get ready to go to Powerpoint Training. All day…all damn day.

  4. Seconded what comment 7 says about starving college students, but rather than sweet potato, howzabout buffalo?

  5. I feel like I’m trapped in some sort of weird Twilight Zone-esque version of Let’s Make a Deal. I’ll take buffalo. No! Wait! Jalapeno! No! Hang on… maybe multigrain. But chocolate looks good, too, and… AHHHHH!! THERE’S A MONSTER ON THE WING OF THE PLANE!!!!

Ahem. I mean, um, I think I’d like to try olive, please.

Thank you, Marvo. And may I take this opportunity to add that I’ve been reading you forever and have NEVER one won of your contests? Just sayin’.

  6. I would love me some Sweet Potato!

    or chocolate.

I wonder what the “works” is.. sounds dangerous!

  7. ooh! sweet potato would be my bag! your product reviews are the only ones that make me laugh out loud.

  8. I neeeeeeed the OLIVE!!!!!!!!!!Why??? Because I was making hard boiled eggs while reading this, and it boiled over, and now there are cracked, nasty smelling eggs in my pot and my stove is a mess….and I’m still hungry, with no eggs to my name πŸ™

  9. Well i am already in total LOVE with the sweet potato and the multigrain, so i think ill be brave and branch out and try those delic looking Jalapeno. Thanks!!

  10. Olive please. πŸ™‚ Me and my mum have this thing for olives. Whenever we leave the supermarket we have atleast 3 different varieties but it’s always a hard deicision on which ones to pick.
My favourite olives are anchovy stuffed ones because they’re so salty and delicious. My mum’s are jalapeno stuffed, which make me cry like a baby.
So anyway, I love olives and olive flavour tortilla chips sound too awesome.

  11. I have been craving Jalapeno ever since I first saw this item on your blog. Very difficult to get anything Jalapeno in Tennessee.

By the way I totally loved the fine print!

  12. I’m not going to be picky – when I win you can send me whatever is leftover (please be sweet potato or The Works!!).

But what I secretly want is for you to ask for my address to send me rocks in the mail.

    What can I say…I’m a cheap date.

  13. Buffalo buffalo, buffalo buffalo buffalo.

I know someone who will eat anything and everything buffalo she finds that is edible. Why not add one more to her repertoire?

  14. Buffalo or any farm animal related flavor. I do hope they come out with some domesticated animal flavors such as
chipolte dog, olive tapinade cat and curried hamster.

  15. The Works!

We’ve seen these at our local market, but have yet to actually try any but the Jalepeno, which I HIGHLY recommend. Unfortunatly, they don’t carry “the works..”

  16. Please enter me for the multigrain, Mr. Marvo!

(and just for the record, where CAN we place the blame for what comes out of Paula’s mouth??

  17. I soo deserve to win these chips because I view and read your reviews every day and already know these chips are a 10! My bid is in at Sweet Potato

  18. Oh God, give me something whole grain! I have been quasi-South Beach Dieting and would love something I could actually eat!

  19. I’d love any flavor except Jalapeno. If I really have to choose I guess it would be the works.

  20. I would love any of them besides Jalepeno. I’m not picky. I think I’d love Olive the most, however.

  21. I’ll take whatever…Im seriously not picky. I just ate stale golden crisps for lunch because I was too lazy to actually cook something. These bags of chips would be like a frickin’ gourmet meal to me.

  22. I’m stuck at my computer studying for a med school final…and now I’ve gone ahead and drooled all over my notes just looking at the tortilla chips! It’s too late at night to go out and buy some of the chips on my own…so please take pity on me and send me your sample!! Perhaps in many years when I have my degree I can provide some medical care in exchange.

I would appreciate any flavor you’d be willing to send my way! I’m not picky – and would be super grateful!!
