THE WEEK IN REVIEWS – 5/16/2009

Here are a few product reviews posted this week from other blogs wrapped in an HTML shell and served with immature writing.

There’s a wired graph paper notebook with paper that makes the lines disappear when copied, scanned or faxed. Pff…I’d rather have a wired notebook that doesn’t irritate left-handed people, like me, with wires digging into my hands. (via Office Supply Geek)

The packaging Boxed Water comes in is supposedly better for the environment than bottled water. But boxed wine is still bad for people trying to not look cheap. (via BevReview)

Volcano box? I thought it was a review for Paris Hilton’s vagina. Thankfully, I was wrong. (via GrubGrade)

Red Bull now has an energy shot. I hope it give me wings or, at least, the ability to help me stay awake during…ZZZZZ. (via Energy Fiend)

Smaller Altoids don’t seem curiously strong, but they do look curiously cute. (via Candy Addict)

  1. I know someday my dependance on energy drinks is going to bite me in the ass, but until then, I’d rather drink Red Bull than tell everyone exactly how I feel about them because I’m half asleep at work (I work the closing shift at a convenience store/ice cream shop.)

I’m all for the energy shots. I think 5-hour energy tastes like rotten kool-aid.

  2. Yay… being left handed is awesome. Wait, wtf, I wish they made left handed keyboards… because I just got smudge marks on my hand again!

  3. i’m left handed too. can openers used to be really challenging when i was a kid. it was so awkward to use… and notebooks may as well have only the left page (verso) because the right side (recto) is practically useless.

  4. @Diana: I’m pretty sure energy drinks are going to bite a lot of people in the ass or with the sugar content in them, make their asses grow.

@Fran: I write and eat left-handed, but pretty much everything else is done with the right hand. So I don’t know if that make me a true southpaw.

@amy: I used to flip spiral notebook upside down to get the spirals out of my way when I was taking notes for lecturers. But then I decided to stop taking notes altogether and now I have a college degree.
