@Orchid64: I know I did that in a review, but that's because the company did it that way. It made me feel dirty.

@Thomas: Holy crap! That is a candy bar. POP ROCKS are like bacon...it makes everything better. Oooh, bacon and pop rocks candy bar.

@Natalie: I hated having to report for cafeteria duty and serve food to my peers. Everyone would ask me for more tater tots.

@cybele: You know what would be awesomer than that -- having someone else keep a running list of things that would awesomer for me. I need an assistant.

I think you should keep a running list of things that would be awesomer than the original product ... like a portfolio of awesome ideas to sell to a company, or maybe to get a writing job on The Simpsons.

That school lunch blog makes me happy I'm out of school and don't have to eat that anymore. The food combos are all so familiar..though it seems like everything is individually packaged..weird, we normally had friendly lunch ladies serving it directly onto our trays.

Here is the chocolate bar manufacturers website: chuaochocolatier.com

It is all about their Firecracker Bar: Dark Chocolate, Chilies, A pinch of salt and POPROCKS! Candy is always better with poprocks.

I love everything Chuao makes!

I always get a kick out of people using the word "panko" in English. Though you didn't do it here, most cooking blogs say "Japanese panko breadcrumbs". This is essentially saying, "Japanese bread crumbs bread crumbs." I never understand why they don't simply say "Japanese bread crumbs", or, as you did, simply say "panko" (like people simply say "sushi"). Oh, wait, I do understand why they have to put the word "panko" in there. It makes them sound pretentious. ;-)

Chocolate stuffed with bread crumbs sounds gross.
