Show Notes:

In this episode, I review the Kool-Aid Laughin’ Lemonade Fun Fizz. Just like Carlos Mencia, it doesn’t make me laugh. Also, if you haven’t seen the Double Rainbow video (but I think most of you have), then a chunk of this episode won’t make sense. Go watch it! Finally, Read Junk Food Betty’s review of the Partyin’ Punch flavor.

  1. What happend to second rate snacks site? When I clicked it and it led me to a godaddy site said the site expired?

Marvo thank u for renewing the site I love this site a lot!

  2. I haven’t been able to drink Kool-Aid since I was a kid and we visited the American base for the first time and I had one too many of those individual bottle Kool-Aid things back in 1993 or so. I got so sick because my stomach wasn’t used to all of the American gum, sugary cereal etc… I almost vomited on the 5 hour drive home ahaha! Maybe if they made a less sugary one I’d try it, but who knows, the fizzy part of it could either be a good contrast to the sugar, or make me have a flash-back of my being forced to stay out of my office at work while being force-fed alka-seltzer which I can’t stand. Oooh, what if you froze it in Popsicle form??? That would probably be pretty awesome, especially for the summer!

  3. @Alek: I guess they’ve decided to shut down or maybe they forgot to renew their domain registration. Sad. 🙁

@Fran: Dammit! That’s a good idea. But I drank them all. I had to do two takes of the fizzy bubbles, so I used them all up. Bah!

    @amanda: Oh yeah! I mean…Oh no!

    1. Hmm, ok well, if I ever find these packets I’ll try and freeze them and see what happens. Who knows, they may be actually pretty delicious. I may not enjoy sugary drinks much (though lemonade flavor usually works fine with me) but freeze it in a Popsicle and you could even get me to drink fruit juice as a kid.

  4. Did you have clown porn on while you were watching the fizzy bubbles, or would that have been too much stimulation?

  5. I’ve always been a fan of the way you say “written.” I don’t know why.

Also, Kool-Aid is .. iffy at best, but effervescent (and Aspartame-filled) slightly lemon-flavoured Kool-Aid? No thanks.

Also, having not seen the Double Rainbow video before (and only hearing people vaguely reference it meme-wise) and seeing your video makes me think that perhaps.. it would have been funnier (and MUCH less creepy) had I viewed the source of the meme first. Maybe I’ll go do that.

  6. I tried the Partyin’ Punch variety of FunFizz and also found that the non-sugar sweeteners left a bad taste in my mouth.

Also, Marvo, I really wanted to hate you for spoofing “Double Rainbow”, but I actually found myself smirking. So…congratulations.

  7. @Chuck: Nah, I’m past clown porn. I’m now into carney porn, less makeup, but more bearded ladies.

@NobleArc, The Lazy Canadian: I’m a fan of how Canadians spell flavor and favorite.

@Orchid64: Yup, that’s what I’m trying to do. Disturb and compel.

@J.R. McQuaid: I’m in the mood for love.

@Kelley: Yay! No TIB writer rage!

  8. The still for this video is so awkward. It reeks of Meme positioning.

It looks like “Fucking magnets, how do they work?” or even “How do I shot web?”

    1. I am growing out my hair. My last haircut was 13 weeks ago (I usually get one every 4 weeks). My hair probably looks frizzy in the video because of the poor lighting of my green screen.

  9. WOW how did I miss this review till now. If you said fizzy bubbles one more time I was SOO going to start touching myself but then I noticed your hair looking awesome and did so anyway… second base so hot
