NEWS: If You Live In The Right States, You Can Enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts’ New Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich

Dunkin’ Donuts has a new Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich, but it’s available only to those who live in New England or in the Mid-Atlantic United States.

If you’re like me and don’t know which states those are because in school you were more focused on knowing state capitals than where states were on a map, here you go: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The new breakfast sandwich consists of a fried egg sprinkled with pepper, a turkey sausage patty, and a slice of reduced fat cheddar cheese on a toasted English Muffin.

Dunkin’ Donuts’ Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich is under 400 calories and available for a limited time in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.

If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

  1. I work at DD in NY. The fried egg is the same thing from the Big N Toasty (ahem…Big N Toasted). The turkey sausage patty is now rectangular. Nothing innovative. Move on.

    1. Yeah, I had it for breakfast today. Pretty bland compared with the regular sausage. And it seemed sweeter, as if they were doing the maple syrup thing.

  2. What I don’t get is if you’re trying to market to the healthier eaters, and you’re offering turkey sausage and reduced fat cheese….why isn’t the sandwich with an egg white? I’ve had the DD fried egg on the Big N’Toasty where it belongs with its other fat kid ingredients on that sandwich.

  3. I tried it this morning. I like that it was so hot it burned my mouth
as hot food should be very hot and cold food very cold.
So on to the taste…. I like the sausage it seemed to be lower salt then most. The egg was standard flavor the cheese was melted and flavorful. The muffin was toasted in short I enjoyed it.
    I would order it again.

  4. I have had this twice already and it is very good. The texture and size is more satisfying than the turkey sausage omelette sandwich. It is flavorful yet so much less greasy than the regular sausage and egg sandwich. I really liked it and will continue to buy it. I really hope it ends up sticking around for good. Would like to find nutritional information somewhere. It doesn’t seem to be available yet.

  5. When I opened mine in the car yesterday morning, my 11 year old son said “what smells like a dirty diaper?”! Absolutely true. I took a bite; it was dry and, because I couldn’t shake the dirty diaper comment, I had to get rid of it. Gross.

  6. I haven’t tried this yet, and probably won’t. The ads are trying to make the turkey sausage look juicy, but to me it just looks really, really greasy. Dunkin’ Donuts should stick to what they do best and leave the fast food sandwiches to the other guys. I think I’ll pass.
