Hey! If you didn’t get chance to see me on Hawaii News Now Sunrise this morning (or afternoon, if you live on the east coast) because you had more important things to do than watch an obviously nervous blogger have two minutes and thirty seconds of local TV airtime, there’s good news. Hawaii News Now put up the video of today’s segment on their website.

  1. Nice work, Marvo! I wasn’t expecting the positive milkshake review, given your 1 of 10 rating. Did you accidentally leave the bottle there to finally be rid of it?

    1. Thanks!

I didn’t write the Chicken & Waffles syrup review. Jasper did. But I did taste it and I didn’t think the sauce was as gross as I thought it would be. It isn’t very pleasant on waffles, but it does work very well in a milkshake. I still do have the bottle you saw in the video…and I have an unopened one. I bought one when it first became available and a few days later the public relations firm that represents Torani sent me another bottle.

  2. That is a very blue shirt. Nice work! I wish our local morning news would add fun segments like this.

  3. Top props on the Snack Lab segment and look forward to seeing it regularly on the news!!!

  4. You did an awesome job Marvo!

Hopefully you get your own spinoff show now.
Also if you guys do more I hope you post them, considering I don’t live in Hawaii and won’t remember to go look at their website enough in hope that you do another one.

  5. Am I the only one who thought he was calling you Marvin? Great job on the show. It would be great if you became a regular.

    1. That’s my first name. Marvo is a nickname. When I first started this blog, I used a nickname instead because I didn’t want to use my real name. The nickname just kind of stuck.

  6. Great job Marvin! (isn’t that what he called you at the end of the clip? 🙂 )

  7. Thanks for posting this link. I hope you’ll post a link each time so we can watch them all. I thought the host stepped on your lines a little bit, but generally it went very well! I’m guessing once they get to know you and you get to know them, the line stepping won’t happen anymore.

Now, you’re a local celebrity, tomorrow, the world!
