V8 Complete Nutrition Bar

Screw eating regular meals! I’m going to live off of V8 Complete Nutrition Bars! And a few weeks from now I’m going to look damn hot on the outside…but super hungry on the inside. (Spotted by Melissa at Walgreens.)

Archer Farms Cupcake Mix 2

Archer Farms Cupcake Mix 1

To be honest, I’m only interested in knowing what that chai latte cupcake tastes like. Archer Farms should also try to make matcha green tea cupcakes. (Spotted by Richard at Target.)

NOS Active Energy Drink

Did you just finish a race and need to replenish your electrolytes, but don’t want your heart to stop beating at a fast rate? Well, NOS has a drink for you. (Spotted by Marvo at 7-Eleven.)

Brachs S'mores Candy Corn

So I guess this is what they do with all the leftover candy corn from Halloween. (Spotted by Meredith at Rite Aid.)

  1. We got Halloween candy at my store a couple weeks ago, got the pumpkin spice candy corn out. This is also the first time I’ve noticed the Oh Henry bar appearing on shelves, but it’s only in a bag of minis.

  2. That blue nos drink was incredibly……. bad. It was terrible. Their street team was giving them away across from a conference I was at in Richmond and I couldn’t finish it. The flavor (which was poor at best) didn’t mesh with the carbonation at all.

  3. The S’Mores candy corn is very tempting. I hope it does taste like a real s’more.

The V8 bars is so expensive!

  4. just don’t tell me they’re making BACON candy corn.. so if eveyone L o v e s bacon so much, how come there aren’t wall to wall pigs on all the tv show? Or would that end the faze?

  5. I absolutely loved the chai latte cupcakes! They weren’t as ‘chai latte’ as I was hoping for, but they were deliciously spicy and moist and the frosting was rich and decadent. My ultra-trendy coworkers said these rivaled their favorite bakery cupcakes.

I was also super good-surprised that the frosting mix made enough to frost the cupcakes properly, with little swirls and everything. I had bought a can of frosting to augment it because I didn’t expect that there would be enough frosting in the box. I gave the can to a coworker who just likes frosting enough to eat it by itself.

I did find that the two tablespoons of milk called for in the frosting was too much– I had puddles of frosting dripping off the cakes (which didn’t stop the coworkers– they grabbed spoons and scraped up the frosting). When I made these a second time, I only used one tablespoon of milk and the consistency was perfect. That time, I also gave into the spice cake vibe and dusted with pumpkin pie spice and garnished with pecans. They were a huge hit.
