QUICK REVIEW: Panda Express Honey Sesame Chicken Breast

Panda Express Honey Sesame Chicken Breast

Purchased Price: $7.89 (2-entree meal)
Size: N/A
Purchased at: Panda Express
Rating: 7 out of 10
Pros: Nice mild, sweet honey flavor with a little bit of sesame. Crispy exterior on the chicken breast strips. Great replacement if they’ve run out of Orange Chicken or Sweetfire Chicken Breast, or if you’re sick of Orange Chicken or Sweetfire Chicken Breast. Not as cloying as Orange Chicken.
Cons: The vegetables weaken the flavor of the entree; the sauce’s flavor doesn’t seem to stick to the vegetables. Some of the chicken breast strips were too thin and the chicken in them were dried out. Yellow bell pepper were probably included for their color. I thought the string beans were asparagus.

  1. Eh whatever, it’s right next door at work, I’ll nosh it eventually. That new(ish) teriyaki chicken has me pretty hooked though. Making them cut it in front of me tricks me into thinking it is better quality.

  2. I sampled this when I was there yesterday and thought it was pretty tasty, though the string beans would make me think twice about ordering it.

  3. I tried this yesterday and didn’t like it much. To me, it was too spicy. (It doesn’t even mention spicy in the description!) I wouldn’t order it again.

  4. This is my new favorite. I used to only order orange chicken. I like the crunchy coating & the sesame seeds and the beans & peppers make me feel better about eating rice & breaded chicken. I’m not a big green bean fan & these are crunchy & yummy. It is about as spicy as orange chicken.
