QUICK REVIEW: Burger King Rodeo Burger

Burger King Rodeo Burger

Purchased Price: $1.59*
Size: N/A
Purchased at: Burger King
Rating: 9 out of 10
Pros: Awesome value for $1 (Decent value for $1.59). Love the sweet and spicy barbecue sauce, which there was just the right amount of. Size of onion rings ensure there’s a bit of it in every bite. Onion rings and barbecue sauce complement the beef patty well. Even though they were sitting in its wrapper for about 10 minutes, the onion rings were still a little crispy. 450 milligrams of sodium is surprisingly low for a fast food burger.
Cons: Having to pay $1.59 for a sandwich that’s being advertised at $1. It’s not at all filling. Beef patty was noticeably smaller than the toasted sesame seed bun. I really should say “Where’s the Beef?” but I think many of you are too young to know the reference.

*Because I live on a rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, things are a bit pricier here. Most of you will pay just $1 for it.

  1. If your readers are too young to remember the “where’s the beef” quote then I feel old, lol! I loved the rodeo cheeseburger when it came out for the Small Soldiers movie, I haven’t been to a bk in over 2 years their quality has lacked for a long time now!

  2. If someone is too young to remember…..go to utube now! The eighties had the best commercials!….and yes, I am old

  3. I loved Rodeo burgers when I was a kid. You gotta have the cheese though! It’s just not the same without it!

  4. Had the chicken version 3 days ago and was sorely disappointed. Just a reworking of what’s already there: the old, overcooked fried chicken patty on the regular, blah bun, with a teaspoon or 2 of BBQ sauce and 3 mini-onion rings. Totally blah and disappointing (sorry, BK–try something original?).

  5. Had the chicken version on Saturday. Nice flavor & value but that’s it. The chicken patty is just sorry & there’s twice the breading as there is of the pink slime chicken. I also had two $1.19 BK cheeseburgers (patty 3″ diameter, 1/4″ thick) with my lunch yet I still felt hungry afterwards. I never feel full with Burger King. Wish I had gone to Wendy’s instead.

  6. I tried both rodeos burger. I like the rodeo chicken sandwich more. Very good price for $1. BK over McDonalds for value menu.
