SPOTTED ON SHELVES – International Delight Iced Coffee (Cold Stone Creamery Sweet Cream and Hershey’s Cookies ‘n Creme)

International Delight Iced Coffee (Cold Stone Creamery Sweet Cream and Hershey's Cookies 'n Creme)

Any coffee company can make iced coffee in cartons in flavors like vanilla, mocha, and caramel, but only International Delight has the balls (and licensing contracts) to make Cold Stone Creamery Sweet Cream and Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Cream flavored iced coffees. (Spotted by Troy at Meijer.)

If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new or limited edition product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email ([email protected]) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. If you do so, you might see your picture in our next Spotted on Shelves post.

  1. This shit is so meta!

What do you do with it? Do you put it IN your coffee? Is it a coffee substitute? Does it have caffeine?

It’s an enigma wrapped in a Rubicon of marketing.

  2. I bought the Cookies ‘n’ Creme variety from Meijer yesterday, and the chocolate cookie flavor is very pronounced. It is as good as I was hoping it to be.

  3. It’s iced coffee, not a sub or a creamer, just iced coffee, if you’re into that sorta thing. It’s got a nice kick of caffeine, for sure.

I’ve been a longtime drinker of the vanilla flavor, and had to try the cookies & creme variety when I saw it. It’s got a semi-bitter aftertaste, like dark chocolate, and overall, is really good if you’re a fan of the candy bar it’s based on.

I just swung by the store on the way home and bought the Sweet Cream variety, which I’ll be trying in the morning. Fingers crossed.
