  1. So thanks to Walmart, it’s now possible to serve birthday-cake-flavored ice cream with one’s birthday cake.

Is this also a hint that “cotton candy” will be the must-be-in-everything flavor for May or June? That would continue the pattern of vaguely-sweet-and-not-much-else food-on-food flavors that started in January with red velvet and has brought us through cookie dough to birthday cake.

  2. I got that Raspberry Creamsicle ice cream a week ago and I have to say that I really like it. So many fruit flavored ice creams use those syrupy ribbons throughout and I find them too sweet. This one has a nice subtle taste.

  3. I think Dubba over at Second Scoop needs to review the Wal-Mart birthday cake ice cream since he’s oh so fond of birthday cake ice creams 😉 Anyways, I have three kids age five and under so I tried it. I made a sundae, but not a breakfast sundae. We did the birthday cake ice cream, cool whip and sprinkles thing. I think I over dosed on sprinkles in this one…..and are sprinkles really all that once you’re over ten years old??? I thought it was pretty good, but it was awfully sweet. I don’t think I’d try the birthday cake again, but I think Wal-Mart has some good flavors for the price.

  4. i love cotton candy anything and good c squared ice cream is hard to find. of course, none of my walmarts carry it. darn!

    1. I tried cotton candy it is my new favorie ice cream. It is truly the best in taste and looks

  5. I’ved tried the salted caramel one, and the cotton candy one. The salted caramel is weak. Overly sweet ice cream base. The caramel cups in it are cheap tasting (no surprise). The cotton candy is better. I like it. ITs definitely is sweet. The candy pieces are weird but crunchy. Its very cotton candy flavored, but it doesn’t feel overly fake.

  6. I’ve tried the almond gelato and I don’t know if I just got a bad flavor or what, but it was pretty rough (literally). There were huge chunks of almond in it and the flavor was so weak. Too much money for a lackluster product.
