WEEK IN REVIEWS – 5/17/2014

Here are a few product reviews posted this week from other blogs we follow.

McDonald’s is testing a Horchata Frappe in California, which is testing the willpower that’s preventing me from buying a plane ticket to try one. (via Brand Eating)

Wait a minute. There’s another company called Hershey’s in Pennsylvania that started the same year as the other Hershey’s? Junk food knowledge gained! (via On Second Scoop)

I have no idea who Blake Sheldon is. Wait. What? Shelton? See, that’s how little I know about the guy. I can’t even spell his name right. (via Grub Grade)

KFC’s Double Down doesn’t shock me anymore, so perhaps it’s time for KFC to make a Big Mac-type sandwich using chicken as buns. Or a chicken bucket with straps on the bottom so I can wear it like a hat and take their chicken wherever I go. (via Man Reviews Food)

  1. I used to get Hershey’s ice pops, about 20 years ago when I lived in Virginia. I wonder if it was the same company?

Also: I am loving that horchata is becoming a bit more mainstream. I am finding it more often in places I never thought I would.

  2. I do know who Blake Shelton is but I don’t understand why he has a pizza. Is he really into cooking? Is there a country music fan who can make me understand?
