Organic Valley Organic Fuel and Organic Balance 2

Yoplait Original Limited Edition Passion Fruit Yogurt

Dear Yoplait: I know you’ll probably never read this because we’re a semi-popular food review and news site. This blog no Eater, Serious Eats, Foodbeast or Huffington Post Food, but just in case you happen to come across this, I’d like to see you make lychee flavored yogurt next summer as a limited edition product. You’d make me the happiest chubby editor in the middle of the Pacific Ocean ever. (Spotted by Carla at Walmart.)

  1. How lazy and wasteful is that oatmeal package?! Really? Making in a K-Cup system. There are 3 portions and it costs $6= $2 a cup. I got the gut feeling that this will be discontinued shortly. How that works? Dump the oatmeal in the cup adding the k-cup with the flavoring and the mix-ins.

For the same price you can have bowls of Quaker oatmeal for cheap. $2 for what? 10 pouches= 20 cents plus you add your mix-ins and it would be around 80 cents.

    1. Forget pouches; just get quick oats in the canister. Less packaging and more servings for what probably amounts to less money, even with mix-ins. (Raisins and brown sugar aren’t too dear and can last quite a while…)

  2. Your blog is WAAY better than Eater, Marvo. I personally hate Eater. All thier blog posts are simply about stuff that only chefs know about. Your blog is for everyone. Everyone knows what an Oreo is, nobody knows what The Lobster Roll restaruant is. I USED TO hate Foodbeast too, because they would break news that you or Brand Eating already broke, but they’ve been reducing how much they do that now. But I only knew Foodbeast from a post from you. Honestly, you deserve to be higher up than those. You always giving link love, Foodbeast shold do the same, considering how much content they steal from you.

    1. Thanks for your kind words! And you’re right, all they do is regurgitate what they read here or on Grub Grade or Brand Eating, but I have come to terms with the fact that it’s how a lot of news sites work nowadays.

  3. Mmmm…. the passion fruit yogurt is amazing! They also have watermelon (it’s a lite flavor) and it’s okay. It tastes like watermelon and yogurt, but I guess that combination just isn’t for me!

  4. Mr.Peanuts flag has the incorrect amount of stars/stripes on it….I’m writing Planters a complaint letter.
    “Not really”

  5. The stripes on Mr. Peanut’s flag are for peanuts, almonds, cashews, pecans, hazelnuts, and Brazil nuts. There are just five stars because they seriously shortchange you on pecans.
