Update: Click here to read our BK Mushroom & Swiss Big King review

Burger King has a new Big King, the Mushroom & Swiss Big King, but it doesn’t have the ingredient that made the first two Big King burgers special — the sweet thousand island style sauce. Instead, the two fire-grilled beef patties and toasted sesame seed bun comes with Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, and sautéed mushrooms.

The new sandwich has 560 calories, 37 grams of fat, 11 grams of saturated fat, 1.5 grams of trans fat, 70 milligrams of cholesterol, 760 milligrams of sodium, 35 grams of carbohydrates, 7 grams of sugar, and 20 grams of protein.

Burger King’s Mushroom & Swiss Big King is available for a limited time. If you’ve tried it, let us know your thoughts in the comments.

  1. I’m tempted to set foot in a BK one last time to try this out, but past experience (and that wacky review of the Mushroom & Swiss Steakhouse Burger) gives me that nasty feeling they’ll skimp on the mushrooms. That’s 103% taboo in the unwritten Mushroom & Swiss Bible.

  2. This mushroom and Swiss big king burger had good flavor, but it was definitely not a king. Perhaps a pawn??? Should be on the value menu-not $6.00!

  3. It’s pretty good; it’s kind of skimpy though for what they give you.
It should be on a value menu. It’s def. one of the better tasting sandwhiches there though. They need to add more meat and mush and cheese
