FAST FOOD NEWS: Jack in the Box Enchilada Monster Taco

Jack in the Box Enchilada Monster Taco

Jack in the Box’s new Enchilada Monster Taco is the fifth new Monster Taco variety this year.

The year began with the Nacho and Bacon Ranch Monster Tacos. In June, we saw the introduction of the Breakfast Monster Taco. And October brought us the Southwest Monster Taco.

The Enchilada Monster Taco is made up of seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, melted cheddar cheese, and a bold enchilada sauce in a large crunchy taco shell with the obligatory grease stain. It’s available for a limited time at participating locations.

The taco has 308 calories, 20 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 27 milligrams of cholesterol, 693 milligrams of sodium, 317 milligrams of potassium, 22 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 2 grams of sugar, and 11 grams of protein.

  1. I loved it.

Jack in the Box was advertising these on their register for $1.69 +tax here in Arizona. The taste was amazing. I’m no food reviewer, but this gets easily above an 8/10. It’s not perfect, of course.

    The problems:
-There wasn’t the token slice of Kraft singles cheese in the taco like there is in their regular tacos
-The enchilada sauce literally tastes like Mild sauce from Taco Bell, and
-With both tacos I got, half the lettuce/sauce combination peeled off inside the taco wrapper so I had to rip the wrapper open and eat the lettuce from the bag. in public. looking like an idiot.
