FAST FOOD NEWS: Taco Bell Sriracha Quesarito and Snapple Lemonade Freeze

Taco Bell Sriracha Quesarito

Update: We reviewed it! Click here for our Taco Bell Sriracha Quesarito review.

Taco Bell is the latest company to join the sriracha craze that has been going on for the past two years. Their contribution is the Sriracha Quesarito. It’s a burrito that’s stuffed with seasoned beef, Latin rice, Taco Bell’s own sriracha sauce, and reduced-fat sour cream, and then that’s wrapped up in a grilled quesadilla with melted cheese and more sriracha sauce.

The Sriracha Quesarito has 650 calories, 32 grams of fat, 12 grams of saturated fat, 0.5 grams of trans fat, 55 milligrams of cholesterol, 1720 milligrams of sodium, 68 grams of carbohydrates, 6 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugar, and 22 grams of protein.

Taco Bell Snapple Lemonade Freeze

If the sriracha burns your mouth and you need something to cool it down, Taco Bell is also now offering the Snapple Lemonade Freeze. The tart, tangy, and sweet slush is available in two sizes — 16 and 20 ounces. It has 240 calories, 0 grams of fat, 70 milligrams of sodium, 59 grams of carbohydrates, and 59 grams of sugar.

  2. I had the beef version of this earlier tonight. It’s a creamy sirracha, similar to the one Subway uses. I found the sauce overwhelmed all the other ingredients; I could barely taste the cheese, and I couldn’t taste the beef. All I could taste was sweet delicious pain. =) My lips tingled for like 20 minutes after I finished the quesarito.

  3. I tried the sriracha and I didn’t really care for the tanginess of it…but I loved their lava sauce and everytime they come out with a new “hot” sauce I am always comparing it to the lava, so my opinion is definitely biased. I am amazed by how much sodium they can fit in there. Get one more item and you have your sodium content for the day. Awesome.

  4. The sriracha sauce is the hottest sauce on the line, really good for clearing my sinuses with spring coming up, lol.

  5. err…The Snapple Lemonade Freeze has 70 milligrams of sodium not cholesterol. I know it’s fast food and who knows what’s really in it, but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how they would have gotten cholesterol in lemonade.

  6. I tried the Freeze and found it has the typical Snapplesque flavor that all their beverages have
