FAST FOOD NEWS: KFC Chicken & Rice Bowls

KFC Chicken Rice Bowls

When it came to KFC bowls, you were guaranteed the KFC trifecta of mashed potatoes, gravy, and, of course, fried chicken. But KFC’s new Chicken & Rice Bowls have broken away from that.

KFC’s Chicken & Rice Bowls are available in two varieties. Sweet n’ Spicy BBQ features hand pulled honey BBQ chicken, cheese, green onions, and rice. Zesty Tex Mex has crispy chicken, pico de gallo, cheese, green onions, and rice. The Chicken & Rice Bowls are also available as KFC’s $5 Fill Ups which include a chocolate chip cookie and medium beverage.

KFC’s Chicken & Rice Bowls look healthier than anything else KFC has offered in a bowl before, but are they? I can’t prove anything since there’s no nutritional info on the KFC website.

If you’ve tried either one, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

If you’re a regular Kemps frozen yogurt eater, you might be wondering how the same flavors found in both Kemps Frozen Yogurt Shop and the regular Kemps Frozen Yogurt differ. Well, Kemps Frozen Yogurt Shop Cookies ‘n Cream has a chocolatey swirl and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup has a peanut butter swirl, while the regular versions don’t have a swirl. FAST FOOD NEWS: Krispy Kreme Oreo Dirt Cake, S’mores, and Honey Bee Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme Oreo Dirt Cake S mores and Honey Bee Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme has three new campfire-inspired doughnuts.

The S’mores Doughnut is a yeast doughnut filled with a toasted marshmallow Kreme filling that’s dipped in milk chocolate and topped with graham cracker crumbles, chocolate chips, and a white icing drizzle.

Krispy Kreme’s Oreo Dirt Cake Doughnut, which doesn’t make me think of campfires, is a yeast doughnut stuffed with Kreme filling and Oreo cookies crumbles, dipped in milk chocolate, and topped with more Oreo cookie crumbles and a gummy candy worm.

Finally, there’s the Honey Bee Doughnut, which also doesn’t make me think of campfires since bees don’t work at night. It’s a glazed yeast ring, dipped in yellow icing with a candy sugar piece honey bee.

All three are available now through May 17, while supplies last.
