FAST FOOD NEWS: Popeyes Smoky Garlic Chile Chicken

Popeyes Smoky Garlic Chile Chicken

Popeyes has a new limited time only chicken on their menu. It’s their Smoky Garlic Chile Chicken.

The menu item gets its name because the chicken tenderloins are marinated in a blend of slow-smoked Morita chile peppers and whole garlic. You can get four premium tenderloins, a regular side, and biscuit for $4.99. And, of course, like many Popeyes limited time only chicken, it comes with a new dipping sauce. This time it’s a garlic herb sauce.

If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

  1. Had this today . It was another solid meal from popeyes . Not my favorite promo , but still good . I prefer the classic spicy or blackened tenders

  2. I’m done with KFC. My local one has been continuously screwing up mine and others oder for the last 3 years. Too soupy of gravy. burt chicken. wrong orders. water downed pop. etc. Many have complained and all they said id they’d look into it. Nothings been fixed.

    1. This isn’t from KFC. Also, they screwed up your oder? Who is Burt Chicken? Water downed? Id they’d? Are you high?

    2. judging from your attitude the gravy was soupy because they spit in it.im sorry your expecting 5 star resturant service from a burger joint

  3. Had this today. Didn’t taste that different from the regular tenders, and they gave me the wrong sauce (Mardi Gras mustard). Might try again at some point.

  4. I just had this today & I enjoyed the flavor of the chicken. It was moist & the Gael herb sauce really complimented it. The only problem is – I can’t find any nutritional info & I’m keeping a food journal. Any ideas of where I can get the info on the tenderloins & the sauce?
