SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Pepsi Limón

Pepsi Limon

Do you miss Pepsi Lime? Well, my friend, I’m about to turn your frown upside down because it’s back and possibly better. Unlike the original lime-flavored Pepsi, Pepsi Limón is made with real sugar and lime juice.

But before you go running out of your home to look for this, I should let you know it’s available only in areas with large Hispanic populations, like Arizona, California, Chicago, New Mexico, and Texas. (Spotted by Robbie at Target.)

If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new or limited edition product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email ([email protected]) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. Or reply to us (@theimpulsivebuy) on Twitter with the photo, where you spotted it, and the hashtag #spotted. If you’ve tried the product, share your thoughts about it in the comments.

Also, if you’re wondering if we’ve already covered something, search our Flickr photos or use the Google Search box on the right (or below if you’re on a mobile device) to find out.

    1. That’s just a rumor based on some letter a guy got from Pepsi we have a better chance of getting Oreo O then the original crystal Pepsi

  1. I would love to try this but in diet! Apparently not coming to my state though.

  2. So Irish aren’t allowed to like lime?!?

I used to add lemon or lime juice to coca cola, so I’m sure it can be done with Pepsi. There are even packets of powdered citrus for drinks that could be used. Ooh, add kool-aid!

  3. Tried this a couple of weeks ago. One gulp was it for me–this is not the same as Pepsi Lime. It’s a distinct flavor that was not for me, and I loved Pepsi Lime.

  4. I tried a 20oz bottle of it when I found it at Walmart last week. I’d never heard about it or seen any advertising for it, but I gave it a shot. I liked it and will definitely buy more next time I go to Walmart. When I Googled it after finding it in the store, I read the articles about it and it made me feel like I wasn’t supposed to be drinking it since I’m white. The way it’s talked about in the articles I found about it, they make it seem like it’s only for Hispanic people. It seems like an odd way to market a new soda.

  5. I miss diet pepsi twist. I hate the aspartame free diet pepsi. Will have to find a new favorite. Sorry pepsi.

    1. Frankly, I can now drink a diet soda without all the side effects that aspartame gave me. Yeah, the taste is different, but I can drink it now. I’ll get used to the difference without a lot of trouble myself.

  6. Bring diet pepsi lime back. It’s just crazy that it was discontinued. Adding lime flavor to regular diet pepsi isn’t the same.
