  1. I will be curious to see just how many people buy that licorice ice cream. That will be some very brave souls!

    1. why is it very brave though? liquorice isnt really that off the wall is it? – not like cappuccino chips or anything.

i’ve had liquorice ice cream in various different places in the world, its lovely.

    2. we did my husband loves it, no one else but farr’s makes it and farr’s is not in stores. glad to see this flavor. The ice cream is delicious so creamy and good. our new best ice cream.

    3. It is the best thing I have ever tasted. 🙂 Big black licorice fan. And as a bonus it turns your tongue black.

  2. ive have the crazy hot pop chips and they taste like hot cheese pop chips. i wasnt expecting cheesy but it came on pretty strong after a while.

  3. The Popchips were hot but didn’t really taste like anything…I guess I was expecting a kind of chili flavor, but they were mostly just a burning aftertaste. Not horrible, but I certainly won’t get them again.

  4. Those Keebler Snack Sticks aren’t new. I had them a few years ago. The Honey Wheat flavor.

  5. Wow, black licorice ice cream! That brings back memories. I actually used to get this often as a kid (late ’60s/early ’70s); it was one of the standard flavors at the local ice cream shop. I don’t think I’ve seen it since then, though. If this were available anywhere near me, I’d probably pick up a carton, for old times’ sake.

    1. Yes, I remember getting licorice ice cream around the same era at a small test outlet for some company. It was wonderful. They also had dill pickle ice cream, which actually was very good and I got it whenever it was available. Yes, that was me with one scoop black licorice plus one scoop dill pickle in the cone. They said it was a hit with pregnant women. I wasn’t pregnant, but I do like peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.

  6. I would die for getting my hands on that licorice ice cream!
    First: i love ice cream
    Second: I love licorice
Third: It looks almost like my favorite ice cream (black sesame ^^)

    xD

  7. I just tried the Red Button Creamery’s Raspberry Lemonade Sherbet flavor, and while it was one of the most delicious ice cream flavors I’ve ever tasted, and the texture was so excellent, I did get very sick afterward, as did my friend who joined me in trying it. I really want to eat the rest of the carton out of my freezer but I want to know what other people’s experience is with this brand first. Anyone else tried it?

    1. we have tried the sprinkled animal cookie, huckelberry pie, black licorice and the carmel sea salt pretzels and all of them are amazing never been sick, could be if I ate enough which would be easy to do. our new best ice cream.

  8. I love black licorice ice cream!! I loved it as a kid and would get a cone of it at a certain store in the Ogden area. Now I can buy it and take it home. Hooray!!
