SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Limited Edition Strawberry Shortcake Thick & Fluffy Eggo Waffles

Limited Edition Thick & Fluffy Strawberry Shortcake Eggo Waffles

Some of you are probably thinking, “Ugh. I don’t want to eat 36 waffles.” Well, just wait six months because that how long it took for the last limited edition Thick & Fluffy Eggo variety to go from being a Sam’s Club exclusive to being everywhere. (Spotted by Maria at Sam’s Club.)

If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new or limited edition product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email ([email protected]) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. 1. I could totally eat all 36 waffles. Not in 1 sitting, but ya know.. spread out over a few weeks. 2 for breakfast .. minimum of 18 days. Jazz it up by making a better Eggo breakfast sandwich, or slap some peanut butter on it and it becomes a lunch item too. Not sure if lunch meats would work well though..

    1. Well, people eat sausage and bacon with waffles…. Try slicing those up for your lunch sandwich. Don’t forget the syrup – that probably is what will make the meats fit well with the waffle. In a pinch, you could try a good dose of Bacos.

Also try adding sliced banana. I’ve eaten banana slices with veggie sausages and honey or syrup, so that should make a good waffle sandwich filling. Hmmm… Bacos and slices of banana and syrup inside a waffle sandwich, no cooking required. Except for the waffles.

      1. I don’t know about the “Strawberry” part with the ham.. I could be wrong.. but seems weird. Don’t know about turkey, chicken, roast beef, or salami/pepperoni with waffles though. Unless the strawberry bits aren’t strongly flavored (likely) then it could open a world of possibilities. Time to buy some waffles.

        1. Fruits can work quite well with savory. I don’t think the strawberry will be a problem, but you’ll find out! Turkey is often eaten with cranberry sauce, and grapes are great in such things as chicken salad or veggie equivalents. And of course fruits work well with nuts or seeds or roasted legumes like peanuts.

  2. I found these waffles at Sams Club. They are absolutely divine! I almost didn’t buy them because they were a bit more than the regular waffles but I’m so glad I did, they were so good I didn’t even want to share them with my children. When I went back to get more they were gone! Now I am craving them and can’t find them anywhere! The limited time was very limited, I hope they will be back soon.

  3. Yep! They get us hooked on something and then they quit selling them. Please bring them back. I bought the 36 count boxes two at a time….. My friend and I are totally addicted to them….

  4. We have purchased the frozen strawberry shortcake waffles at Sam’s Club. Now they don’t have it anymore we are really disappointed. They are delicious. Can’t find them anywhere. Really wish they would bring them back.

  5. These are DAMN GOOD! Got one box at Sam’s and wish I had bought 2! We are still looking all over the place for MORE! Sam’s get these back on the shelf!
