SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Monterey Jack and Sundried Tomato Sun Chips

Sun Chips Monterey Jack and Sundried Tomato

Some of you are about to jump on your keyboards and leave a comment that says this flavor isn’t new. Yes, it isn’t new. It was an exclusive Subway flavor. But that’s not the case anymore. According to the Sun Chips Facebook page, it’s now a limited edition flavor. (Spotted by Lindsey G. at Stop & Shop.)

If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new or limited edition product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email ([email protected]) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. Or reply to us (@theimpulsivebuy) on Twitter with the photo, where you spotted it, and the hashtag #spotted. If you’ve tried the product, share your thoughts about it in the comments.

Also, if you’re wondering if we’ve already covered something, search our Flickr photos or use the Google Search box on the right (or below if you’re on a mobile device) to find out.

  1. Over the past few weeks, I’ve seen banner ads saying these were available at Safeway but haven’t spotted them at my store yet. Sounds worth a try.

  2. Speaking of Subway. I noticed they have those do us a flavor, flavors. In fun size bags. for like 99 c. I for sure saw gyro favor.

  3. I kinda like the idea of montery jack and tomato sprinkled on a potato chip… would like to try it, but furthermore: whats with this amazingly looking shape of the chip? is it the normal shape for “sun chips”? I really think they are awesome. More like a tortilla chip. 🙂
