I’m very disappointed the Krave one doesn’t come with marshmallow skeletons, but not because I want to make marshmallow skeletons. I really just want a Krave cereal with marshmallows. (Spotted by Steve D at Waldbaum’s.)

  1. A Halloween-ier? version of Froot Loops and Apple Jacks would be to keep flavors the same but in orange, dark purple, white coloring for the cereals. Then again at Christmas, switch it up with standard christmas colors. This could go on for every holiday..

Froot loops would probably be more interesting that way, instead of being able to see that I’m about to eat a spoonful of lemon with orange and cherry flavor. It’d be a mystery. Orange color wouldn’t necessarily all be orange flavored… it could be the blue! Or grape!

Unless of course, like me as a kid, who refused to eat it standard and would pick out the “yellow and greens” from my bowl before eating anything… Ah, memories.

  2. I don’t like froot loops (and there already are froot loops with marshmallows) and i think kraves are better eaten without milk (somehow the combination isn’t working for me… though i have to say with warm milk it’s not thaaaat bad) – for example on ice cream ^^ – but apple jacks (again: wasn’t able to try them yet) with marshmallows seems to be an amazing idea, not just for halloween. I mean Lucky Charms are the best cereal there is, so why not adding them to apple cinnamon cereal? ^^

  3. You can actually buy bags of those marshmallow bits – I’ve seen them on Amazon. Look for marshmallows plus charms or bits. Then every cereal can magically become Lucky Charms, any time you want. The cereal part of lucky Charms is also very tasty, but those marshmallows have an uncanny appeal.

    1. never thought of that.. but they do sell the jet puffed marshmallow bits at my grocery. you could definitely just add those to any cereal. i need to buy a container of those!

  4. If there’s one thing my Apple Jacks have been lacking, it’s a marshmallow in the shape of a skeleton’s crotch.
