Giant Limited Time Originals Peppermint Seltzer Water

When I drink peppermint flavored seltzer water, I get the sensation that I might be wasting my money by getting caught up in buying holiday themed products. (Spotted by Debra at Stop & Shop.)

  1. The Hot Cocoa Candy Canes from Target are really good. They have a slight marshmallow flavor to them, just like you get when drinking hot chocolate with mini marshmallows. They also worked well for stir sticks in coffee and cocoa.

  2. I like flavored carbonated water as much as the next guy (I’ve probably tried all of the different Faygo flavors and all of Walmart’s Clear American brand of sparkling waters at one time or another), but a mint flavored carbonated water? That’s a little too unusual for me.

  3. Snyder’s cheddar pretzels were solid: good taste, some powder sticks on the fingers (but nothing like Cheetos or Doritos). In terms of color, the pretzels look closer to the unsalted (a little lighter) than the normal; there is some salt on the pretzel, but less than on the normal pretzels.

On the other hand, the bag is only 10 oz, compared to the normal 16 oz (I think even the unsalted ones are 12oz), and bumps up fat (granted, from 0g to 2.5g) and sodium (from 250mg to 390mg; still lower than Rold Gold’s cheddar’s 490).
