For years Burger King offered their Big Fish sandwich during Lent season. But this year the Big Fish has been replace with their new Extra Long Fish Sandwich.

It features a panko-breaded White Alaskan Pollock, iceberg lettuce, sweet tartar sauce, and pickles on the warm toasted hoagie bun we’ve seen a lot of over the past year and a half.

The sandwich has 570 calories, 29 grams of fat, 6 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 30 milligrams of cholesterol, 1500 milligrams of sodium, 58 grams of carbohydrates, 6 grams of sugar, and 18 grams of protein.

  1. In contrast, the King’s Hawaiian fish sandwich that is currently on the menu at Arby’s has 690 calories, with 1000 mg of sodium and 25 grams of protein. The sandwich at Arby’s is not “extra long” and includes a slice of cheese, so that could account for some of the differences.

  2. I tried one earlier today and it’s just not as good as they used to be. It’s hardly filling now and its thinner than ever.
