    1. Me too. I wont buy anything that says frozen dairy dessert. When I want ice cream, I want actual ice cream.

      1. The fact that the chocolate peanut butter apparently qualifies as ice cream is highly encouraging. I’m tempted, anyway. (As for coconut fudge? Talenti has a nice coconut gelato. Just drizzle hot fudge on that one and call it a day.)

      2. You might not dismiss the coconut fudge one so quickly. Coconut is very rich and they use real coconut shreds. There are legal restrictions on the use of the name “ice cream” and it’s possible this is one of those times that a good recipe no longer fits inside the legal definition because of such an ingredient replacing other types of fat, for instance. I remember one ketchup made with honey couldn’t call itself ketchup for that reason, the legal definition didn’t allow for a different sweetener. Didn’t matter how good it tasted.

  1. I love the flavor of coconut, but I hate the texture. I wish they’d just used coconut milk and left the shredded stuff out.

  2. The photo and description made it look so good. Sadly, Breyers chocolate peanut butter ice cream is AWFUL. I didn’t know ice cream could actually be awful. The peanut butter is hardened and separates from the “ice cream. ” The ice cream has a sawdust-like texture. I can’t imagine trying to make an ice cream cone with this stuff, it doesn’t hold together. I’m surprised at how bad this is since it’s Breyers brand. It even has corn syrup in it — yuck. Won’t be buying Breyers brand again.

  3. Just tried the Breyers chocolate Peanut Butter and it is awesome!! My whole family loves it!

  4. The Chocolate Peanut butter is Awesome!!! It is perfect exactly what I was looking for and NOT peanut butter cup.
Closest to what Baskin Robins used to have.
