WEEK IN REVIEWS – 3/12/2016

Dunkin Donuts

Here are a few product reviews posted this week from other blogs we follow.

I’m generally more sensitive to spicy ingredients than the typical chile-head and even I was scratching my head wondering where the heat is.(via Grub Grade)

While the cinnamon was dominant, the peach and biscuit components represented well. The peach swirl was present enough that almost every bite contained a sample of it. It was the consistency of peach jelly and was super sweet, balancing out the sharpness of the cinnamon.(via On Second Scoop)

At first glance, these Twinkies seem no different from normal ones, with the same spongy flesh and the same ‘sounds of a fireplace’ cellophane wrappers. Only while inspecting the Twinkies’ undersides do we see hints of the psychokinetic dance-offs about to go down.(via Dinosaur Dracula)

The flavored salt delivers a unique lime flavor that is not overly citrus-y or acidic, like we are used to tasting with lime flavored chips, but simply more of a pure lime essence. It is almost as if fresh lime has been zested and sprinkled all over these chips.(via Chip Review)

Thirdly, there are four flavors in the pack. You may have heard us riffing on that old Forrest Gump quote about life being “like a box of chocolates” from time to time…but in this case, you do know what you’re gonna get, because there’s a handy cheat sheet on the back of the packaging that tells you which eggs have which fillings.(via What’s Good at Trader Joe’s)
