FAST FOOD NEWS: Burger King Angriest Whopper

Burger King Angriest Whopper

Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

In 2009, Burger King rolled out the Angry Whopper. Even though it came with jalapeño slices, pepper jack cheese, spicy onion rings, and a spicy angry sauce, I didn’t think it was very “angry.”

But there’s a new angry Whopper, and this time it’s really angry.

The Angriest Whopper is made up of a flame-grilled beef patty, thick-cut bacon, American cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, angry onion petals, jalapeños, mayonnaise, and a spicy angry sauce on a red sesame seed bun that has hot sauce baked in.

The spicy burger has 830 calories, 51 grams of fat, 17 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat, 115 milligrams of cholesterol, 1530 milligrams of sodium, 59 grams of carbohydrates, 17 grams of sugar, and 34 grams of protein.

  1. I hope this doesn’t turn your poop red like the halloween one did green LOL. But anyways very excited to try this!!!! Love spicy things and missed the original angry one last time!

  2. It’s spicier than the original angry whopper, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up that a fast food chain will ever make anything melt-your-face hot. It is tasty however

    1. When eating supposedly “spicy” fast food I always just hope for some detection of heat, yet more times than not I’m still disappointed.

  3. It’s a good level of heat – mass market high heat level, but probably a medium at best for people who eat spicy foods a lot.

The bun needs to go. Spongy, too sweet, no thanks.

  4. Tried it and its like .5/10 spicy. So if you want sonething spicy dont take the angriest whopper.
