FAST FOOD NEWS: White Castle French Onion and Roasted Garlic Cheese Sliders

White Castle Cheese Sliders and Sides

White Castle has two new cheesy sliders available for a limited time. But if you’re reading this in Chicago, White Castle has one new cheesy slider available for a limited time

The two new cheesy sliders are French Onion and Roasted Garlic. The French Onion Cheese Slider features a rich cheese with grilled onions and black pepper. The Roasted Garlic Cheese Slider is topped with a cheese mixed with roasted garlic. As for you Chicagoans, the French Onion and Roasted Garlic Cheese Sliders won’t be available to you. However, you’ll be getting the new Ghost Pepper Cheese Slider instead.

The fast food chain is also offering a new cheesy side to everyone — deep fried Wisconsin Cheese Curd Nibblers.

The three new Cheese Sliders have 170 calories, 9 grams of fat, 4.5 grams of saturated fat, 0.5 grams of trans fat, 20 milligrams of cholesterol, 480 milligrams of sodium, 14 grams of carbohydrates, and 9 grams of protein.

  1. Just finished the ghost pepper. Whew! It was delicious. I got mine here in Chicago on 21st and wabash. They surprisingly had all of the new flavors but my mind was set on the ghost pepper slider. I had the single and double. It definitely has a nice amount of heat. The single is definitely spicer than double. I eat ghost, jalepenos, jabenero, and scotch bonnets regularly so it was not overwhelmingly spicy, but provided a wonderful kick. I will be going back!

  2. Grew up with White Castle but then moved away to a Castle-less location–definitely miss it! Have been known to feast on White Castle when on a business trip to a White Castle area (while colleagues go to 3-star restaurants) . . . . Fortunately, White Castle has gone into frozen food production, but it never feels the same. 🙁

  3. Maybe i just got unlucky but I couldn’t really tell the difference between the garlic and french onion, and had I also not known what I ordered, I’d say it tasted the same as the cheese slider.
