FAST FOOD NEWS: Subway Thick-Cut Carved Turkey & Bacon Sandwich

SUBWAY Carved Turkey Bacon with Simply Products

Subway has added an oven-roasted, thick-cut carved turkey to their menu. Not only is it thick-cut, it’s also made with all white meat and has no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. So what’s going to happen to the original deli turkey? It’ll still be around.

The new turkey is being showcased in the chain’s Carved Turkey & Bacon Sub that features Applewood-smoked bacon, American cheese, and fresh veggies on Italian bread.

A six-inch sub with American cheese, spinach, tomatoes, mayonnaise, and Applewood smoked bacon on Italian bread has 550 calories, 25 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 70 milligrams of cholesterol, 1610 milligrams of sodium, 42 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 8 grams of sugar, and 32 grams of protein.

The suggested retail pricing for Carved Turkey & Bacon starts at $5.25 for a 6-inch sub and $8.75 for a Footlong.

  1. $9 for a 12″ Turkey sandwich? Even with bacon, that’s highway robbery.. What’s next yr’s “special deal” – $10, any footlong?

  2. I tried the sub for lunch and it’s pretty good. I do think the price is a bit high just for a sandwich. I like the thick cut turkey over the deli cut turkey, because you can actually taste the meat and not feel like you got ripped off!

  3. I won’t try this. Its processed turkey.
The ‘deli turkey’ is simply disgusting.
They have sub shops around here that roast turkeys all day(as in the whole bird)
and pull the meat right off the bird and put it on the sub.
No form of ‘processed’ turkey can top that.

  4. It is call “craved turkey and bacon” so you would think it would be priced for that, right. NO they charge you for the turkey and add 2.50 for the bacon. I will not get that again to get ripped off and I like subway since no Jimmy John’s around
