The newest offering from Church’s Chicken is the Fiery Jalapeño Crunch Chicken.

It features fresh bone-in chicken that’s been marinated for 12 hours in jalapeño spices, which is then hand-battered, coated in extreme breading, and fried in small batches.

The menu item is available for a limited time at participating locations.

If you’ve tried it, let us know how spicy it is in the comments.

  1. I live in a metro area with a population of almost 1,000,000 people. In the South. And yet, no Church’s Fried Chicken establishment within 90 miles.

That should be against the law.

  2. A spicy chicken definitely with more flavor than the spicy chicken. But I tried it from a restaurant that overcooks their chicken so I’m gonna have to try it again from a store that cooks their chicken better. This might be my favorite.

  3. I tried Jalapeno spicy today at my favorite Church’s location. Although it was a little overcooked, I did not like the new flavor well as the old spicy. The new one added the jalapeno favor but with obvious ‘pickle’ overtones. I like the previous spicy flavor much better.

  4. I hate it. Worst idea of Churches history. Bring back the spicy and rid us of this pickled flavor mess like KFCs failed Tennessee mess.

  5. I am depressed because churches changed from spicy to jalapeno flavor! I cry because they changed without notice
