SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Godiva Dark Chocolate Bars (Sea Salt, 72% Cacao, and Almond)

Godiva Dark Chocolate Bars (Sea Salt, 72% Cacao, and Almond)

You know how some folks say BMW stands for “Big Money Waster”? Well, I’ve been trying to come up with something similar for Godiva chocolate. I know it’s not an acronym, but I’ve come up with “Good Or Decent If Very Affluent.” (Spotted by Caitlin J at Target.)

If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email ([email protected]) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. Or reply to us (@theimpulsivebuy) on Twitter with the photo, where you spotted it, and the hashtag #spotted. If you’ve tried the product, share your thoughts about it in the comments.

  1. W-o-W! What a waste of shelf space. Godiva has been making similar bars for years. I don’t get why Godiva is so expensive? I can get good quality chocolate for less than Godiva and tastes better

  2. For some reason, I keep thinking Godiva used to be better. Was it, at one point, or were my taste buds just less experienced?

For premium-style chocolate bars, I’d likely just go for Lindt, which has yet to let me down…
