Christie Oreo Candy Cane Frozen Dessert

If Christie wanted to up the candy cane, Candy Cane Oreo Cookie pieces would’ve done the trick. (Spotted by David M at 7-Eleven in Canada.)

  1. I don’t get why many ice cream companies just use regular oreos while there are so many flavored oreos to use? It might cost little more but it adds better flavorings

    1. It’s because ever since Oreo went on their ALL-THE-FLAVORS rampage following the success of Birthday Cake Oreos, the subsequent flavors have kind of sucked and people are on to them.

Not only is there no advantage to using say ‘Mint’ Oreos (speaking of which I *just* tried after someone left some in the lunchroom) to make your special new mint ice cream, there’s a distinct disadvantage when people can hardly tell it from regular Oreo ice cream. If you do that enough times, people will stop trying your new products just because they’re new. Like Oreos.

Sorry, had to vent that. I love trying new flavors of everything, but I’m done with Oreos.
