You weekend warriors might be looking at the Mtn Dew Spiked Raspberry Lemonade and thinking, “Yes! I’m going to get wasted on that someday!” But if you look closely at the poorly lit can, you’ll see the word “non-alcoholic.” So if there isn’t any alcohol, how is it spiked? Prickly pear cactus juice is the answer.
But if you follow the Dew, you know the brand has made it a habit of releasing non-alcoholic beverages that sound alcoholic. See Mountain Dew Dew Shine.
This beverage, along with three other new Mtn Dew varieties, were shown at the 2016 NACS Show in Atlanta, Georgia. The other new drinks were Mtn Dew White Label (a tropical citrus craft soda), Mtn Dew Green Label (a green apple kiwi craft soda), and Mtn Dew Kickstart Mango Lime.
The new beverages will be hitting shelves sometime next year. (Or if you REALLY want to try Mtn Dew Green Label and have lots of money to burn, you could buy a can from someone on eBay for $500.)
