WEEK IN REVIEWS – 12/17/2016

McDonald's 003

Here are a few product reviews posted this week from other blogs we follow of stuff we probably won’t try.

As expected they tasted just like graham crackers should, and the way they were ground up into a fine dust allowed them to be spread around the entire sundae. Combined together with the ice cream and banana syrup, it did in fact taste like a frozen Banana Cream Pie. (via Travelling McD’s)

As its most predominant flavor, the Lion Bar’s thick caramel mantle is both delectable and detestable. It has a mouthwatering browned butter richness, but the caramel is also so chewy that any real lion would fear for the structural integrity of his pointed canines.(via Cerealously)

There’s a very light sprinkle of powdered sugar that combined with the deep frying gave these a bit of a funnel cake vibe. I could have used some more powdered sugar though. Fortunately, the syrup picked up the slack rather well.(via Brand Eating)

I’m sorry, but this is a big ol’ fail for me. It’s not so much tragically bad, it’s just that it doesn’t pop on any level. I love fresh, delightfully crunchy funnel cake, but that’s not here. It just a flavorless thing under the strawberries.(via On Second Scoop)

Blue Bunny Cocoa Bunny is inspired by hot cocoa. A cup of hot chocolate sure does sound comforting as I attempt to deal with tragedy. But this particular hot cocoa is served ice cold… just like the dead corpse of Blue Bunny Holi-doodle Christmas Cookie ice cream.(via Junk Banter)
