Several years ago there was Berry Burst Cheerios. It wasn’t flavored with real fruit, it had real fruit — freeze-dried fruit. The cereal was eventually discontinued for some reason. But I imagine it was because of the freeze-dried fruit and the way they’re milk-sucking sponges. (Spotted by Chris B at ShopRite.)
