SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Pepsi 1893 Citrus Cola and Black Currant Cola

Pepsi 1893 Citrus Cola and Black Currant Cola

If Pepsi is making more 1893 flavors, it must’ve sold more than 1893 cases of their 1893 Original and Ginger Colas. (Spotted by Zach at Safeway.)

  1. Wow! I’m REALLY excited about this one. I will be looking for these at a feverish pace and if I don’t find them in Ohio, then someone on Ebay is going to love me cuz I want these bad! Lol we don’t have Safeway out here. Sometimes I wish I never moved from San Diego lol. Hopefully Kroger or Walmart will carry these soon! Please don’t be another futile wild goose chase like Cap’n Crunch Orange Creampop was! Lol

    1. 12 pack is $14 with 20% off on Amazon.

These new ones look interesting but I doubt they would be as popular. The original 1893 is good with some jack.

      1. I’ve never had a citrus or berry cola. I would love to try them. I don’t like the ginger variant. I feel it’s not ginger-y enough.

    2. I know Kroger affiliated stores will be getting these in the next week or so, so I would think regular Kroger stores should have them soon.

      1. I bought some of these at dollar general and they had ALL of the flavor variants at a great price. The shelf life is short so the individual cans are great. Black currant and the original black can are my favorite.

      2. are you selling them for $1 a can, or do you carry the 12 pk for a better price? I’d like to try some, but $14 for a 12 pk for a Pepsi variant? Yeesh

  2. The black currant sounds promising, definitely going to try it. The only other soda I can think off with black currants is Vimto and if this is even half as good as that, it’ll be great.

  3. Black Currant looks interesting. If I look for these, I’m checking Kum & Go or Homeland Stores first.

  4. I can’t wait! The original 1893 is one of my frequent purchases. It’s just enough to satisfy a craving for a carbonated beverage.

  5. It better come to Omaha. The original 1893 Cola is always sold out at both the stores that carry it that I can get to. There is always plenty of the 1893 Ginger, but the 1893 Cola goes so much better with food. Also using real sugar does make a soft drink better, especially these Pepsi 1893 Colas.
