SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Limited Edition Long Lost Lime Skittles

Limited Edition Long Lost Lime Skittles

I see Skittles of green, red ones too. I taste the lime, not green apple this time. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world. (Spotted by Carla at Walmart.)

  1. Green colored candy should be lime flavored! American candy manufacturers need to get over their obsession with Green Apple flavor!

  2. I was so confused by this news and had to google… aaaaand now all makes sense.
I was really confused about the “lost lime” flavor since i thought it IS an actual flavor. And it is, but here in Germany, not the US. 🙁
I can see why you’re so excited, but at the same time: Why do you have grape flavor and we have to live with blackcurrant. So unfair! 🙁
    ^^

      1. Oh! How rare!
Isn’t it? I mean it’s not the most common flavor/fruit in the US due to certain circumstances, so it must be hard to get black currant. Or got the situation a bit better? ^^

And don’t get me wrong here. I like black currant too, but i tend to love grape more.
It’s just… grape is a reaaaallly cooooommon fruit here, but the flavor is pretty damn rare in Jams/Yoghurts/Candies and so on, that i would love to have it instead of black currant… 🙁
(I think it’s the same for you with grape and black currant :))

  3. Is anyone compiling a list of which Walmart stores in Wisconsin and Illinois are carrying these? A friend and I have been looking from Beloit to Madison and Milwaukee and everywhere in between to no avail. Any employees we’ve asked have no idea what we’re talking about. ?

  4. No. I appreciate the gesture but this is not what we want. We will accept nothing less than the permanent removal of green apple from the original flavors.
