SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 1/9/2013

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers.

Crystal Light Liquid

MiO’s sister brand, Crystal Light, has come out with her own line of liquid water enhancers, which include the following flavors: Blueberry Raspberry, Iced Tea, Mango Passionfruit, Strawberry Lemonade, Peach Bellini, and Pomtini. Now I guess we wait for MiO’s brother brand, Kool Aid, to bust through with his own line of liquid water enhancers. Oh yeah! (Spotted by Zachary at Walmart.)

Pringles Limited Time Only Cheeseburger

Pringles Limited Time Only Sea Salt & Pepper

I’m extremely disappointed the graphic designer who designed the Sea Salt & Pepper container didn’t put a little grey or white in the Pringles guy’s mustache. Junk Food Guy has a review of the Sea Salt & Pepper crisps. And Chip Review has a review of the Cheeseburger Pringles. (Spotted by Lael at Walmart.)

Keebler Chips Deluxe Triple Chocolate

I have yet to see a store-bought chocolate product break the through the triple chocolate level. Chocolate cookie, chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips got the cookies to the triple level, but I’m sure the Keebler elves could’ve easily dipped them in chocolate and then topped them with chocolate sprinkles. BOOM! Chips Deluxe Quintuple Chocolate Cookies! Damn, I should be a Keebler elf! (Spotted by Adam at Weis.)

Oscar Mayer Carving Board Pulled Pork

I could spend hours making my own pulled pork. Or I could spend seconds opening a container of Oscar Mayer’s Carving Board Pulled Pork. Or I could spend minutes in my car driving to a decent barbecue place. (Spotted by Adam at Walmart.)

NatureMade Adult Gummies

Still waiting for adult prescription medication gummies, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, and Bristol-Meyers Squibb. (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)

SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 1/7/2013

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers.

Red Velvet Pop-Tarts

Holy crap! I predicted Red Velvet Pop-Tarts! Do you like apples, Mayans? Well, how do you like them apples? (Spotted by Rebecca at Walmart.)

Scooby Doo Cereal

I have two dogs and after seeing what’s in their food, I think veterinarians would agree that Scooby-Doo shouldn’t be eating Kellogg’s new Scooby-Doo cereal. Or the version with marshmallows from 2002. (Spotted by Cortney at Shoppers Food Warehouse.)

Stouffer's Special Edition

I wish it was called Stouffer’s Special Edition Side Addition Collection, because I love repetitive suffixes. Along with Cheddar Bacon Potatoes, other Stouffer’s Special Edition Side Dish Collection varieties I’ve found on the internet include Glazed Apples & Cranberries, Green Bean Casserole, Creamy Scalloped Potatoes, and Broccoli & Cheese Gratin. (Spotted by Shannon at Walmart.)

Power Rangers Pasta

I wonder if Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers Turbo, Power Rangers in Space, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, Power Rangers Time Force, Power Rangers Wild Force, Power Rangers Ninja Storm, Power Rangers Dino Thunder, Power Rangers S.P.D., Power Rangers Mystic Force, Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, Power Rangers Jungle Fury, and Power Rangers RPM are jealous that Samurai Power Rangers pasta exists. (Spotted by Troy at Big Lots.)

NEWS: MiO Fit Liquid Water Enhancer, It’s Got Electrolytes

When I think of sports drinks, Gatorade is the first one that pops in my head. Although, when I’m super dehydrated after an eight-mile run, I think of any liquid I can get my hands on, but most of the time it’s Gatorade.

Besides Gatorade, there’s Powerade and…I can’t come up with names of any others. But now I can add Kraft’s MiO Fit Liquid Water Enhancer to the short list of sports drinks in my head. MiO Fit’s got what plants crave. It’s got electrolytes. It also has B vitamins.

MiO Fit will be available in 1.08-ounce bottles in two flavors: Berry Blast and Arctic Grape. Each bottle will make 18 eight-ounce servings. MiO announced the new flavors on their Facebook and Twitter pages.

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers.

Kellogg's Cinnamon Jacks

The Kellogg’s Cinnamon Jacks box may say it’s sweetened with brown sugar and cinnamon, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it just had a brown sugar flavor. Apple Jacks doesn’t taste like apples, so there’s a good chance Cinnamon Jacks won’t taste like cinnamon. (Spotted by Michael at Walmart.)

Breyer's Blasts Birthday Blast

Celebrate your birthday with a birthday cake and ice cream that tastes like birthday cake. On Second Scoop has a Breyer’s Blasts! Birthday Blast review. (Spotted by Adam at Walmart.)

Limited Edition Special K Chocolatey Strawberry

Kellogg’s Special K Chocolatey Strawberry is a limited edition cereal. But once it disappears you can get your Special K Chocolatey Strawberry fix by combining Special K Red Berries and Special K Chocolatey Delight cereals. (Spotted by Jarred at QFC.)

New Cereals

It’s raining new General Mills cereals! Actually, it’s raining new and possibly reformulated General Mills cereals! Honey Nut Cheerios Medley Crunch and Fiber One Chocolate are new, but General Mills introduced a Peanut Butter Toast Crunch in 2004. (Spotted by Heidi at Walmart.)

Skittles Darkside

Taste the upside down rainbow of Skittles Darkside which is made up of Midnight Lime, Forbidden Fruit, Pomegranate, Blood Orange, and Dark Berry. (Spotted by Kevin at Walgreens.)

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers.

Doritos Jumpin' Jack

Holy crap! Doritos Jumpin’ Jack Tortilla Chips are back for a limited time. All I need now is a Sega Genesis game console, Crystal Pepsi, and horrible acne to relive my high school years. (Spotted by Adam at Target.)

Silk Latte

Last year, International Delight started offering their own iced coffee after years of being just a coffee creamer company. So it’s not surprising to see Silk do the same thing, except in a way that doesn’t involve cow udders. (Spotted by Melissa at Redner’s Warehouse Market.)

Lean Pockets Limited Edition Chicken Carbonara

Another limited edition Lean Pockets, which I purchased. My microwave oven is not excited to find out if my streak of Hot/Lean Pockets oozing some their contents out while being heated up will continue. (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)

Dole Chia Clusters

This has nothing to do with these Dole Chia & Fruit Clusters, but I’d like to point out there’s a Chia Hello Kitty, which is perfect for the Hello Kitty superfan in your family. (Spotted by Margaret at Kroger.)

Skinny Cow candy

Skinny Cow Devine Filled Chocolate? How about some Skinny Cow Wine Filled Chocolate? Amirite, my fellow ladies? Oh wait, I’m a guy. (Spotted by Margaret at Kroger.)
