NEWS: Kellogg’s Releases Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Eggo Waffles

Update: Click here to read our Pumpkin Spice Eggo Waffles review

I hope the new Kellogg’s Limited Edition Eggo Pumpkin Spice Waffles aren’t good. Because if they are, I’m going to WANT them throughout the year, just like I’ve been YEARNING for the Limited Edition Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts ever since I ate my last one over 365 days ago.

The new limited edition Eggo waffles have a “flavor inspired by autumn.” Those inspirational flavors are pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Each box comes with 10 waffles and they’re a Target exclusive available at Target and other fine stores. Here’s someone’s review of these seasonal frozen waffles.

A serving of two waffles has 210 calories, 9 grams of fat, 2 grams of saturated fat, 3.5 grams of polyunsaturated fat, 2 grams of monounsaturated fat, 380 milligrams of sodium, 60 milligrams of potassium, 29 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 6 grams of sugar, 22 grams of other carbohydrates, 4 grams of protein, 20% vitamin A, 10% calcium, and 25% iron.

  1. The Kellogg’s Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts have returned this year:

I picked up my first box of the season at my local Super Target last week. Hey, nutrition experts talk all the time about “eating seasonally” … nothing says “eating seasonally” like Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts.

The limited edition “Spookylicious Chocolate Fudge” Pop Tarts (called “Choc-o-Lantern” last year) have returned as well, but I found those rather forgettable last year, as the flavor is no different from regular Chocolate Fudge Pop Tarts. Not really worth the money in my opinion, especially when there are delicious Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts to be enjoyed instead.

  2. Update — they’re not just a Target exclusive anymore! I found them yesterday at my local grocery store, Giant Eagle Market District, in Pittsburgh, PA.

I also saw the Pumpkin pie Pop-Tarts as well!

  3. YEAH PUMPKIN POP TARTS!!!! I looked for those ALL last season and never found a package to try. Maybe I’ll have better luck this time around?

  4. I love the pumpkin spice waffles found them only at Target
however they are always sold out.

the grocery stores don’ have them Why not?

  5. the waffles are AWESOME!! The smell hits you when you open the bag! It’s a bouquet of fall! The cinnamon, ginger, pumpkin…I had to take a bite while they were still frozen, that is how yummy they are!

They might taste awesomer if you use a toaster, as I have no toaster, I used a frying pan…so they were a little bit tinged with a carbon flavor…gonna try using the forman grill next time.

So I give these a solid 9 out of 10 with the potential of a full 10 if you cook them perfectly and don’t burn them.

  6. Found Pumpkin pie poptarts at local Aldi. First time a poptart has crossed my lips in 3 years. It was fantastic! Thanks for the heads up or I woudn’t have picked them up.

  7. The waffles are very good from a toaster too! Perfect amount of spices, but mostly nutmeg. Just the right amount of sweetness also (less sweet than the cinnamon toast they have).

  8. VERY yummy! I enjoyed every bite and wanted to get a few more after I was done. I love pumpkin ANYTHING and these did not disappoint!

  9. Please sell Pumpkin Spice Eggos year round. There is nothing more pleasant than a taste of fall anytime of the year. These are delicious plain or with Nutella.
