In February, Subway will bring back their “any regular footlong for $5” promotion. So I think this month would be a good time to give away a $25 Subway gift card.

If my math is correct, you can get five $5 Subway footlongs with a $25 gift card. Unless you live on this rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where you can only get four footlongs because we pay six dollars.

To enter The Impulsive Buy’s Subway gift card drawing, leave a comment with THIS post. I don’t care what you say in your comment, but it would be nice if you described completely your go-to Subway sandwich (i.e. type of bread, what veggies and sauce you put on, whether you get it toasted).

  2. whats the deal with subway? i try to order they make it impossible, went in asked for the philly cheesesteak. they asked me “what kind of cheese do you want” so i said “whatever it comes with”. they told me “we go by what the customer wants”. all i wanted was the cheesesteak on the menu how am i supposed to know what kind of cheese is on it. the girl couldn’t even tell me what kind of cheese is in the one on their picture. this happends every time i go. if i knew the ingredients i would be at home making my own cheesesteak.

  3. I love plain and simple. I always get their oven roasted chicken 12″ with every cheese except pepperjack and nothing else. I get Italian herbs and cheese bread. Its amazing how eating simple can help you lose weight too. I ate this for lunch everyday for 2 weeks and lost nearly 15 pounds. Subway rocks!

  4. It’s chicken breast sub on toasted wheat bread with light lettuce, cucumbers, salt and pepper and light mayo. Ohhh yeaaah.

  5. I get the Veggie Supreme sub: bell peppers, red onions, tomatoes, mozzarella, untoasted on flatbread, with a healthy vinaigrette.

    I’m totally kidding. I indulge in the Philly Cheesesteak because at this time, this has become a college-budget staple and I must satisfy my hunger for profane, refrigerated pseudo-meat and melted provolone. With mayo and toasted Italian Herbs and Cheese bread, of course; there’s no skimping here. I want it all.

    I am surprised I do not have gout. Yet.

    Turkey Breast on Monteray Cheddar, toasted.
    Ranch and everything but pickles, banana peppers, and jalapenos.

  7. oh man….there are tooo many combos for me to list here! all I can say is when its toasted, it has cheese, other wise lettuce and tomato. always onions and pickles and maybe olives. usually turkey or chicken, sometimes tuna or italian, bacon when i want it, whatever bread i feel like

  8. well im currently on a no carb diet so ill tell you what i normally get! Its a seafood sensation on italian herb and cheese with american cheese cucumbers pickles blk olives oregano and the sweet onion sauce. . . but since I cant have carbs/sugars ill prolly get a pastrami melt with bacon and pepperoni loaded with veggies and ill either take it off the bun or ill make it a salad

    toasted wheat roll with every veggie they have love the flavors and with some that crispy pork bacon and and buffalo chicken strips cause i like it hot lol 🙂
    salty hot and veggie is a fave combo of mine

  11. Footlong, of course. Veggie Delite on Whole Wheat Bread. American Cheese, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Banana Peppers, Black Olives, Honey Mustard and loads of Lettuce.

  13. My go-to is the meatball on wheat with shredded moz and parmasian, toasted, with tomatoes. Now I’m hungry….

  14. I’ve only ever gotten one thing at Subway, I like it so much there’s no need to try anything else: Cold Cut Trio on asiago bread, light lettuce, pickles and mayo. That’s it, nothing else on the sandwich.

  15. I always get a 6″ turkey on whole wheat with spicy mustard, spinach, tomato, cucumber, tomatoes…ok it would just be easier to say every veggie except black olives.

  16. 6 inch Cold Cut Combo on whole wheat. Amer Cheese, Mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, black pepper and parmasean cheese. No toast.

  17. My usual is a Spicy Italian on white, sometimes toasted but usually not. Provolone cheese, all vegetables except spinach (why is it even therrrrree?) Used to have it with a ton of creamy Italian dressing but they discontinued it so now mayo, Dijon mustard and oil and vinegar. Extra pickles!

  18. Veggie on wheat bread, provolone cheese, tiny bit of mustard (but even though I always say TINY, they spray it on there like it’s going out of style) and all the veggies except banana peppers.

  19. I have gotten the same sandwich for 10 years now. foot long italian herb and cheese bread, chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, pickles, olives, yellow and green peppers, spinach, and sweet onion sauce, try it, you’ll love it!

  20. Turkey on Italian, every vegetable (except spinach instead of lettuce), oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and oregano 🙂

  24. Meatball on italian herb & cheese, with provolone and red onion, toasted. Or, tuna salad on a random choice of bread, provolone cheese, toasted, with red onions, mayo, lettuce, pickles, and some sort of sauce.

    The personal pizzas are good too.

  25. I don’t much like their sandwiches and almost all subway stores kind of have this stinky smell, but am never the one to say no to free food, so there you go.

  26. I suddenly have a craving for Subway. To be fair, I find that almost all of their sandwiches taste exactly the same, so I’d be hard-pressed to answer the “what is your favorite” question because they all taste the same to me.

  27. Subway Club on honey wheat with swiss cheese. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber,light onion, olives, and lite mayo on the side because I take it to work and don’t want it to get soggy!

  28. I love the Seafood and Crab on the Honey Oat. Still, I’m perplexed at the name–All crab IS seafood but not all seafood is crab, yet the mystery remains as to what seafood is considered seafood in the Seafood and Crab. Then I realize I’m overthinking everything and just eat it.

  29. Wheat bread, veggie patty, pepperjack cheese (double if I can convince my husband to forego it and the “sandwich artist” to put his forfeited cheese on my half)
    Microwave the veggie patty before putting it on the bread and then toast the whole thing.
    Add spinach, green peppers, and cucumbers.

  30. I get the Italian bmt: honey oat bread, toasted, peppers, olives, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and light mayo. delicious!

  31. Footlong BMT on white, double meat, american and provolone, and bacon. Lettuce, tomato, peppers, onions, olives.

  32. Turkey melt with all the veggies on wheat bread, toasted or cold, which even i’m in the mood for is always my go to :).
