SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 3/8/2013

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers.

Starbucks Iced Coffee

Starbucks’ new bottled Iced Coffee doesn’t have 12 ounces like a Tall-sized Starbucks coffee, but the bottle is taller than a Tall Starbucks coffee. (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)

Trolli Evil Twins

One is sweet. The other is sour. One leaves positive comments on your blog. The other leaves anonymous comments, like “your so lame.” One will give you a hug. The other will punch you in the balls or boob. (Spotted by Cybele at Target.)

Chex Mix Muddy Buddies Brownie Supreme

I know what’s supreme about Optimus Supreme and Taco Bell’s Taco Supreme, but I’m not sure what’s supreme about brownie supreme. (Spotted by Eric at Walmart.)

Fiber One Garden Vegetable 80 Calorie Wraps

Fiber One Honey Wheat 80 Calorie Wraps

Wrap some refried beans and cheese with these Fiber One 80 Calorie Wraps and you’ve got yourself a meal that’ll make your butt squeal. (Spotted by Adam at Weis Markets.)

Pepperidge Farms Boston Creme Pie Milano Melts

Now that Pepperidge Farm has Boston Cream Pie Milano Melts, they need to make New York Cheesecake Milano Melts so that the two can fight about the Yankees and Red Sox. (Spotted by Stephen at Waldbaum’s.)

  1. I laughed hard on this one “Wrap some refried beans and cheese with these Fiber One 80 Calorie Wraps and you’ve got yourself a meal that’ll make your butt squeal”. Marvo, you have a great sense of humor!

Chex Mix Brownie flavor sounds so tempting but it just shows a picture of a brownie with chocolate drizzle. A real brownie supereme should have ice cream on top. Wonder it would taste like the real stuff?

  2. I was going to leave a witty comment here but I need to go find those Boston cream pie Milanos so make something good up and pretend it’s from me.

  3. Those Starbucks things are exactly what you would expect. The least exciting product in the world. I would prefer them a bit sweeter but I’m also a horrible human being. They were on sale for a dollar when I picked one up. Fine enough, but not worth the 3.50 or whatever they probably regularly charge. Just get actual iced coffee.

  4. Helpful hint: don’t eat anything that calls itself “evil.” Of, if you’re going to, eat the evil part along with the good part to balance it all out. The evil part on its own, though, is inedible. Though my friend with low candy standards ate the rest of the bag and was not bothered by the evil bits.

Best thing I have read all week. Thanks for being able to make me laugh when all other attempts have failed.

  6. I tried the new (well, new to my neck of the woods, at least) Starbucks Iced Coffee the other day and was HUGELY disappointed! It was horrible! And almost 3 dollars! I think the issue was the sweetness…it tasted very artificial even though I think they use real sugar. Just gross! I’m a big coffee drinker so I consider myself to have a good gauge on these things and I do not recommend! You’d be better off going to an actual store and just ordering a tall iced coffee so you can add accouterments to your liking. Plus, its a dollar cheaper…

  7. I tried the Boston Cream Pie Milano cookies and they are really good! I seriously ate nearly the entire pack when I opened it, and I am usually pretty decent when it comes to self-control! lol
