QUICK REVIEW: Costco Kirkland Signature BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich

Costco Kirkland Signature BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich

Purchased Price: $4.99
Size: N/A
Purchased at: Costco
Rating: 6 out of 10
Pros: Lots of tender beef brisket. Hefty, filling sandwich. BBQ sauce has a pleasing peppery flavor. A surprisingly clean sandwich to eat thanks to the bun which doesn’t disintegrate and the lack of BBQ sauce. Buying toilet paper and frozen chicken at Costco. Don’t need to be a Costco member to buy it.
Cons: For 50 cents less, one can get three $1.50 Costco hot dog & drink meals. At times, the beef brisket tastes like beef jerky. Coleslaw could’ve been tangier and have more flavor. Could’ve used a bit more BBQ sauce. People blocking aisles at Costco just so they can get a sample of something.

  1. I don’t like beef, so I didn’t get this, but my husband did and he’s right with you on all fronts. I think he felt the coleslaw really didn’t do much besides make it appear to be a bigger sandwich, and the bun was also a bit boring (but did make for a tidier sandwich, as you said).

  2. I’ve read reviews from other people, on other sites, about this sandwich. Apparently, I’m the only one who absolutely loves this sandwich? I found the sauce to be just right (I hate really sweet, overpowering BBQ sauce)and not too thick, the beef was tender, and the coleslaw really rounded out the “pepperyness” of the sauce. I get the beef and coleslaw on a plate without the bun, and since they put this sandwich on their menu I haven’t gotten anything else…

  3. Hello

That BBQ coleslaw Sandwich, is so good, I can not get enough of it, the coleslaw adds to the taste. GOOD RECIPE COSTCO

  4. The Costco bbq beef brisket sandwich is now my husbands favorite ! I believe the bun has a lot to do with the combination of flavors that make it so special. I wish they would specify which one that is. Do they make their own coleslaw too? And can you buy the bbq brisket that they use?
