    1. If they were so good, then why is Santa eating oatmeal cream pies in the picture instead?

      I like real red velvet cake, except for the taste of food coloring if that’s used. That’s the only thing wrong with red velvet cake. Give me cake that’s a little red because of the buttermilk/cocoa interaction and no fake coloring, and I love it.

  1. I bought some of those Red Velvet Little Debbie cakes last week at Kmart, and think I spotted them at Walmart as well. They tasted pretty good, but not something I would get on a regular basis.

    1. Even with that ringing endorsement, I honestly expect the Little Debbie version to have an aftertaste of failure. But I still want to try them. That is how much I like red velvet cake. (People actually bash it? Why?)
