QUICK REVIEW: Nabisco belVita Soft Baked Breakfast Biscuits (Banana Bread and Cinnamon)

Nabisco belVita Soft Baked Breakfast Biscuits (Banana Bread and Cinnamon)

Purchased Price: $2.98 each
Size: 5 breakfast biscuits
Purchased at: Walmart
Rating: 7 out of 10 (Banana Bread)
Rating: 6 out of 10 (Cinnamon)
Pros: They smell wonderful and look good enough. Banana Bread flavor tastes pleasant and real. Cinnamon has a mild flavor with a hint of raisin. Soft like fresh cookie and not as dry as some other oatmeal treats. Has B vitamins and five grams of fiber. No HFCS or partially hydrogenated oils.
Cons: Regular crunchy belVita is better. Makes crumbs when grubbing on the go. A bit dry. Oh, geez, don’t dunk them in milk unless you like instant mush. Made on equipment that processes nuts. Dreaming that they came out with a pumpkin bread or apple variety.

  1. My question is: are these soft baked bars vegan? I do not see eggs or milk as part of the ingredients, however, do the company have to list all the ingredients? Thanks.

    1. Yes, they have to list the ingredients in the US. They also are supposed to mention common allergens such as egg or milk, so check for those on the label. I thought they were safe for me (allergic to dairy and egg). They are very tasty, but beware the inulin (chicory root content) if you’re sensitive. That’s how they got the fiber count up. I did better with half or less at a time… They freeze well, like any cookies or cakes.

      1. they have to list whether or not they were even processed on equipment that handles dairy.

  2. Very disappointed with the Belvita Soft chocolate oat Biscuits… Crumbled when I took out of its pouch… And not much flavor… Ended up throwing out the last pouch!!:-/

But a fan of the crunchy Belvita Biscuits!! 🙂
