SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 3/3/2014

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.

Cadbury White Mini Eggs

Now that there’s this I’d like Haribo to come out with a bag of only clear gummy bears. Candy Blog has a review. (Spotted by Verna at Target.)

Whoppers Robin Eggs

The box says, “Decorate your own eggs.” But I believe the robin thinks, “Vandalize HER eggs.” (Spotted by Britt at CVS.)

Nestle Toll House Limited Edition Springtime Semi-Sweet Chocolate Pink & Yello Colored Morsels

If you keep these until October and throw out all the yellow morsels, you can bake and sell cookies for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and donate the proceeds to the breast cancer fighting charity of your choice. (Spotted by Richard at Walmart.)

Trident Splash Orange Swirl and Pucker Me Berry

OMG! They’re soooo adorable! They’re so adorable that I don’t want to crack open their heads for pieces of gum. (Spotted by Sylvia at Ralph’s.)

Russell Stover Wedding Cake Egg

Wedding cake is now a flavor? Thanks, birthday cake! (Spotted by Sylvia at Vons.)

  1. I raided the nearby Walgreen’s yesterday for Russel Stover. I ended up with eggs of these flavors:
    Carrot Cake
    Birthday Cake
    Wedding Cake
    Truffle
    Peanut Butter
    Crunchy Peanut Butter and
    Raspberry Whip

I think the raspberry was my favorite, the chocolate truffle my least. Just tasted like fudge.

  2. the wedding cake egg is so deliciously sickeningly sweet! the inside is all grainy dough mixed with icing. its kind of fondant/vanilla frosting tasting (fondant is used in tons of wedding cakes so I guess it makes sense).

J.Rose… there’s birthday and wedding cake? I guess bday would be more funfetty like? Raspberry whip too? Must head to Walgreens. I love the Truffle heart!

    1. The wedding cake is covered in the white, while the birthday cake is covered in chocolate. With sprinkles!

  3. Wait! How tiny is this paint brush. I’ve only had these things once, but they were so little. Do you haveto be a “write your name on a grain of rice” kinda pro?

  4. I loved the “Wedding Cake” egg. It was vanilla and delicious. It reminded me of an actual cake. One that I hope to have when In finally get married.. I’m 30 now, so my clock it tick tick ticking.
