Archer Farms Grilled Cheese Flavored Bread

Grilled cheese-flavored bread…naturally flavored, but unnatural in my mind. (Spotted by Andy at SuperTarget.)

Little Debbie Brownie Pumpkins

I guess if the Japanese can make square melons, then Little Debbie can make hexagonal brownie pumpkins. (Spotted by Claire G at Weis Markets.)

Market Pantry Skillet Sauces 2

Market Pantry Skillet Sauces 1

There is a part of me that wants to poke a straw into one of these bags so that I can enjoy a savory Capri Sun. (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)

Dunkin' Donuts Maple Brown Sugar Ground Coffee

This seems like a ground coffee flavor Dunkin’ has offered in previous years, but Google says no. (Spotted by Lindsay at Target.)

    1. Little Debbie DOES make “Pumpkin Delights”, though, which are pumpkin pie flavored cookie pastries.

    1. Get one of those plastic & mesh inserts (BB&B and other places carry them), and you can use any ground coffee you like. I used one for the Roasterie chocolate coffee I brought back from a trip to Kansas City, and it worked great.

  1. Admittedly curious about that grilled cheese bread…I have to assume there’s just cheese of some sort baked into the actual bread ? Wondering what would make it “grilled” cheese bread, i mean to me the 2 main characteristics of a grilled cheese are the crunchiness from toasting/grilling and oozing cheese. How could they possibly recreate either in what looks like plain sandwich bread ?

  2. I might try the Target Thai Green Curry sauce even though I know there is a 1 in 1,000 chance that it tastes like Thai Green Curry sauce, it is 9 oz for $2.69 which means they have to keep the food cost below $1.00, I doubt there is much coconut milk in that sucker.

  3. am i reading that article correctly… the square watermelon is the equivalent of $83 usd, which is two to three times the price of a standard watermelon. that sounds insane! does anyone know what this would be in terms of other food costs or relative cost of living? i have a friend who lives in a small town where milk is five times the price of soda… really makes me feel lucky to live in a place where wholesome food is relatively affordable and seasonal produce is inexpensive overall.

  4. apparently you can get a quick meal for less than 1000 yen, fancier meals are 3000 yen. this watermelon is 10000 yen! and still, a regular watermelon can be 3-5000 yen. that’s brutal; i’d go broke… or just have to give up watermelon.
