SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Hot Pockets Limited Edition BBQ Recipe Chicken with Cornbread Crust Empanadas

Hot Pockets Limited Edition BBQ Recipe Chicken with Cornbread Crust Empanadas

Maybe it’s just me, but it’s weird seeing corn in a Hot Pocket. Also, why is there corn in this Hot Pocket? (Spotted by Josh at Walmart.)

  1. Sweet, there’s corn in a hot pocket! About the only Hot Pocket I eat is the BBQ Beef, so yeah, I might give this one a shot. Not generally a fan of cornbread though.

  2. I’ve tried these and they’re pretty good. The cornbread crust crisps up nicely without being too crunchy. The barbeque sauce and chicken are better here than in some of the other versions of Hot Pockets. As for the corn, the five pieces you see in the photo are pretty much all you’re going to get. You don’t really even notice them. I guess they’re just for show. These are also puny little things. Hot Pockets need to be bigger, not smaller! Still, I thought they were worth trying at least once.
