  1. The candy cane cookies were already on Pinterest. Betty Crocker’s product development method is to take Pinterest crazes and turn them into mixes. That’s how we got watermelon cupcake mix last year: it was already being done with watermelon jello.

  2. Am I the only one that had like a mini aneurysm looking at the picture of the egg nog cream puffs? That put way to many questions into my brain, like “how does this exist? Why do I want to eat it? Egg nog pastry? A cream puff has never been so confusing.

    1. It was the lack of orange food coloring in the pumpkin-pie cream puffs that did me in. Brain. Cannot. Process. Non-Orange Pumpkin.

      As far as the eggnog ones, they presumably put eggnog flavor base (which is a thing) into cream filling.
