FAST FOOD NEWS: Wendy’s Orange Mango and Blueberry Pineapple FruiTea Chillers

Wendy's FruiTea Chillers

Last month, Wendy’s began offering a freshly brewed tropical green tea from Honest Tea. Well, they’ve taken that tropical tea and combined it with fruit purees and juices to create Wendy’s FruiTea Chillers.

The new fruity beverage comes in two flavors:

Orange Mango is a combination of tropical green tea, mango puree, orange juice, and carrot juice.

Blueberry Pineapple combines tropical green tea with blueberry puree, pineapple juice, and pomegranate juice. Thirsty Dudes tried this flavor.

  1. It’s hard for me to believe that these drinks have over 40 grams of sugar and 0 calories

  2. I had the Orange Mango and it reminded me a lot of one of the V8 Fusions/Splash that’s a similar combination, except much sweeter. I honestly didn’t think it was tea based at all. Not exactly sure if I’d get it again, but it wasn’t awful.

    1. I tried both and I think they taste like v8 v fusion juice. Not bad. But not worth paying for! I can get a whole bottle of it from the store if I wanted.

  3. I tried the orange mango a few days ago and the blueberry pinapple today. They are super yummy. I watched the cashier make the orange mango. She filled a little less than the bottom 3rd of the cup with some juice from a minute maid juice carton, then filled a little more than a 3rd of the cup with some green tea in a container sitting next to the regular sweet tea (so I guess if u asked they might would use the sweet tea, but it’s pretty sweet on its own so I’m not sure that would be very good–and yes I am a southern sweet tea drinker), then she filled with ice and shook it up. I just wanna know where to get that juice from to make my own at home. That’s why I’m really here, looking for a diy.

  4. Wendy’s new chiller drinks taste so bad to me I paid 5 dollars for 2 and thru them out didn’t even drink them ..my advise ask for a small sample be for you buy make sure ya like it first

  5. I loved the orange mango. I generally hate tea, didn’t taste anything like green tea to me. First one came with orange slices in it. The second one I got didn’t. Two different Wendy’s locations, too. Either way, it’s my new favorite thing, especially since I’ve been trying to quit drinking pop.

  6. I have had both, and LOVE THEM!!! I am addicted to the Blueberry, pineapple. I get one almost everyday. A must try for everyone!!

    1. Im just seeing your post almost a full year later…BUT I 100% agree. I had my 1st blueberry pineapple tea from Wendy’s today and I very much enjoyed the sweet/ tart combo flavor. I can see why you have 1 often. I myself will now frequent my local Wendy’s. Perfect on hot humid day.

  7. I LOVE the Mango Orange. I haven’t tried the blueberry pineapple. But anything mango is my favorite!!

  8. Absolutely disgusting. The mint tea was so dilute I thought I was drinking water, and the blueberry pineapple was horrifyingly sweet, almost to the point of being bitter. Never gunna try that mess again!

    1. Well, that’s because your “mint” tea was actually GREEN tea. Big difference. But you’re right. Very sweet.

  9. I’ve had both but love the orange mango! So good but now that they have tons of sugar I will have no more??I’m so sad ?

  10. I am so addicted to the Blueberry Pineapple. I can’t get it anymore. No local Wendy’s has it now. Where can I find it????
